Manchester United might not be in the best form they’ve ever been in – and in fact, it’s easily been one of the worst runs of games the fans have had to endure in recent memory, in terms of results.
However, that, going by the history books, could be about to change. The Red Devils’ next game of course comes on the 26th of December; Boxing Day. Here’s the good news: Manchester United have only ever lost one game on Boxing Day since the inception of the Premier League in 1992.
The boys from Old Trafford have played 20 Boxing Day games in the Premier League – winning seventeen and drawing two along with that solitary loss, whilst scoring fifty four goals.
That’s an excellent record – and the best in the league by a mammoth fifteen points (Arsenal are the second best with thirty eight points amassed) – so how did United’s five most recent Boxing Day fixtures go?
