Man Utd were unconvincing in their 1-0 victory against Sheffield United and had to rely on a late Wayne Rooney penalty to advance to the fourth round of the FA Cup.

It was a game of little chances, with United failing to break down the Blades defence for most of the 90 minutes

Ironic cheers echoed around Old Trafford as chances were given away and the fans were split on whether to applaud or boo the players as the final whistle went.
