Manchester United are still yet to bring anyone in during this winter transfer window – and only hours remain.
However, there is still time for deals to be completed, if the right man is available for the right price – and according to Italian outlet Sportmediaset, that price could be £19 million.
The player? Argentinian forward Mauro Icardi. It is thought that whilst Inter Milan would like to keep hold of their established first-team striker, they would be happy enough to let him go for around twenty five million euros on deadline day, after a recent falling-out with Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini.
Icardi has made eighteen starts for Inter in Serie A this season – and one substitute appearance, scoring eight goals and assisting one in the process.
His most recent goal was the match-winner against Empoli back on the 6th of January and he has been voted man of the match twice this season.
Also in for the Argentinian are Liverpool, so Louis van Gaal will be going head to head with Jurgen Klopp if a late deal is to be struck.
