Manchester United’s Premier League season kicked back into life with a momentous 3-2 win over Arsenal at Old Trafford.
Marcus Rashford picked up where he left off against Midtjylland in the Europa League with another quickfire double before Danny Welbeck pulled one back for the Gunners on the stroke of half-time.
Rashford was involved again as he set up Ander Herrera for United’s third midway through the second half, but Mesut Özil quickly scored to give United a nervy final twenty minutes.
But United hung on for a massive three points, denting Arsenal’s title hopes and pushing the Red Devils to within a win of Manchester City in fourth.
