Man United line up huge move for Dimitri Payet
Reports in France have emerged suggesting that Manchester United are ready to launch an audacious £50.2million offer to West Ham for Dimitri Payet.
According to the reports, Manchester United have enquired about the availability of Payet. However, if West Ham do decide to sell, United would face tough competition for his signature from the likes of Inter Milan and Real Madrid.
Payet has been a wanted man since the end of his debut season at West Ham and even more since his stunning performances during Euro 2016.
Payet scored three times during the championships, including a last minute winner in the opening game against Romania, while also notching himself two assists.
A mega-rich unnamed Chinese side offered him £135,000 a week before West Ham tied him down to a new sterling contract reportedly worth £125,000 a week, which made him West Ham’s highest ever earner.
Last month it was reported that West Ham would demand a fee in the region of £75million for his services
Jose Mourinho, who is closing down on signing Payet’s international team-mate Paul Pogba, is also in need of another winger with Anthony Martial seemingly becoming unnerved.
West Ham have been adamant since the start of June that Payet will still be a Hammers player come to the end of the summer transfer window and that he will not be sold at any price.
