Team news vs Everton (A)
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho will be pleased that he can call upon record signing Paul Pogba once more when he takes his side to Goodison Park on Sunday.
Pogba, as well as Marouane Fellaini, was suspended for United’s 4-1 win over West Ham in the League Cup on Wednesday, but both are available for selection again at the weekend.
United captain and former Toffee Wayne Rooney will miss the game against his boyhood club, however. He picked up his fifth booking of the season against West Ham in midweek, meaning he now has a one-game ban.
Rooney is just two goals from being Manchester United’s all-time top goalscorer.
Eric Bailly is unlikely to be included despite rejoining training as Mourinho will be wary of making sure the Ivorian makes a complete recovery from his knee ligament injury.
Luke Shaw is unlikely to play against Ronald Koeman’s side, having been withdrawn against West Ham with a knock.
