Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not be moving to Serie A side Napoli in the summer, according to his agent, Mino Raiola.

Speaking on Radio CRC, as reported by Football Italia, Raiola explained that a move back to Italy has never been an option for the Swedish forward, who is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal at Old Trafford.

Napoli are not part of our future plans for now. In life everything can change, but I think this would be almost impossible. I never spoke to [Napoli president Aurelio] De Laurentiis about Ibrahimovic, nor about Mario Balotelli.

The striker has the option within his current deal for an extra year in Manchester.

Ibrahimovic has been United’s main man this season, scoring 26 goals in all competitions, but remains unsure about his future.

It is being reported that the striker is a target for MLS side, LA Galaxy in a move that will see the former Barcelona man end his career in the States.

Jose Mourinho’s side are looking likely to miss out on Champions League football next season and that could play a part when the striker does come to decide his next move.
