Manchester United are set to square off against Belgian side Anderlecht at Old Trafford on Thursday evening, with a place in the semi-finals of the Europa League at stake.

The Red Devils will be on a real high following their result at the weekend – they dominated Premier League leaders Chelsea in a fantastic 2-0 victory.

That home win could well be the elixir for United’s season, with many games having ended 1-1 this season, particularly at the Theatre of Dreams.

A 1-1 draw against Anderlecht would see the tie go to extra-time – so United will be looking to score at least two to give themselves their best chance of progressing to the penultimate stage of the tournament.

With an away game against Burnley coming up at the weekend, United can probably afford to play a strong starting eleven against Anderlecht.
