Manchester United make their first move in Mbappe pursuit
Manchester United have reportedly made their first move to sign AS Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe this summer.
According to a report from French news outlet RMC Sport, as cited by GFFN, the Red Devils have made contact with the youngster’s entourage with the possibility of bringing Mbappe to Old Trafford in mind.
The France international has been sublime this season, bursting onto the first-team scene for Monaco and establishing himself as one of Europe’s most promising young players.
Mbappe has netted five times in this season’s Champions League and has been instrumental in getting Monaco to the semi-finals of the competition.
The young Frenchman is set to be high in demand this summer given how well he has performed this season and if GFFN’s report on the striker is to be believed, United aren’t the only English side keen on bringing him over to the Premier League.
Chelsea and Manchester City have both been claimed to have enquired for Mbappe.
