Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has reportedly sustained what is expected to be ligament damage in his foot.
According to a report from Metro, the injury Shaw picked up in the opening stages of United’s 1-1 draw at home to Swansea on Sunday is as bad as was first feared, and the England international has damaged his ligaments.
The young full-back has only just come back into contention for United as he looks to revitalise his career, but he’s faced with yet another setback and it’s not looking to be a good one for the former Southampton man.

Ever since his £30 million move from the south coast, Shaw has been troubled with respective fitness and injury problems and it looks as though this is set to continue.
Shaw will hope to make a speedy recovery and be back in contention as soon as possible, but it’s expected that he’ll miss the end of the current season.
