Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has held talks with Turkish side Trabzonspor over a potential summer deal.

Turkish outlet Takvim claim that the midfielder is a target for Trabzonspor who are on the hunt for new midfielders this summer.

Fellaini has been on the fringes of the first-team squad since Jose Mourinho took over this summer and has largely been used as a utility man off the bench.

The 29-year-old’s contract expires at the end of next season and United could look to cash in on the player whilst they can.

With United expected to strengthen again this summer, Fellaini could fall further down the pecking order at Old Trafford, which may force him to consider a move away from the club.

Trabzonspor have not enjoyed the greatest of seasons in Turkey, they currently sit fifth in the Super Lig table, 19 points behind leaders Besiktas.
