A move to bring Real Madrid attacker James Rodriguez to Manchester United could be announced as early as Sunday according to reports in Spain.

AS claim that the Colombian is on his way out of Madrid after falling down the pecking order in Zinedine Zidane’s current side.

The report suggests that the former AS Monaco man has played his last game for the Spanish giants and could be heading to the Premier League this summer.

Rodriguez has long been linked with a move to England with both Manchester United and Chelsea interested in signing him in the past.

A deal to bring the Colombian to Old Trafford is believed to be worth somewhere in the region of €50 million.

Interestingly, the two sides meet in a pre-season friendly in Santa Clara as part of the International Champions Cup, so he could potentially be meeting his former employers very quickly if he does make the switch.
