It’s that time of year again – the fixtures for the 2017-18 Premier League season have been released, and Manchester United fans can start planning for the campaign ahead.

The Reds kick off the season with a home game at Old Trafford, welcoming West Ham to the Theatre of Dreams on August 12. That fixture is part of a relatively gentle start to the season, with Swansea, Leicester, Stoke and Everton comprising the next four matches.

Perhaps the first serious test for United comes in October – and it’s the one game that every Reds fan looks forward to when the calendar is released. José Mourinho’s men will travel to Anfield to face Liverpool on October 14, with the return fixture at Old Trafford in March.

Other notable fixtures include a home game on Boxing Day, hosting Burnley, while New Year’s Day 2018 sees United make a short trip to Goodison Park to face Everton to start the year off.

The Reds also face a noticeably favourable run-in, with Arsenal at home on April 28 the only tricky fixture in the last five matches, which includes trips to Bournemouth and promoted Brighton, and visits by West Brom and Watford (on the final day of the season).

The full list of United’s Premier League fixtures is available on the official club website (dates are subject to change), and here are the main fixtures to look out for over the course of the season:
