Serie A side Inter Milan has made an enquiry for Manchester United midfielder Anthony Martial.

According to Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol, Inter have asked United for Martial as part of a deal for Ivan Perisic.

Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move for Perisic this summer, although Inter have stood resolute thus far.

Inter have been desperate to keep hold of the Croatian international but it appears as though they may change their tune if they can get Martial as part of the deal.

Martial signed for United in 2015 from Monaco for a fee that could rise as high as £57m.

The French international has scored 25 goals in 95 games for United in all competitions over the past two seasons.

Although, he has been used primarily as a left-winger, rather than a centre forward.
