Manchester United are bracing themselves for a fresh pursuit of David De Gea from Real Madrid this summer, but they’re reportedly hoping to secure Toni Kroos as a part of any potential deal.
According to a report from the Mirror, United are readying themselves for another approach from Zinedine Zidane as he looks to lure the Spain international away from Old Trafford.
However, if he is to get his wish and land De Gea this summer, it looks as though he may have to part company with one of Real’s best players in Kroos.
The German international has gone from strength to strength since his move from Bayern Munich and has established himself as one of, if not the, best midfielders in world football.
However, a deal that involves both players could be unlikely. The report claims that United are adamant that they will not sell their goalkeeper this summer, while Real are keen to keep hold of Kroos.
