United would prefer to sign Gareth Bale than Perisic
Manchester United are becoming increasingly frustrated with Inter Milan after they’re continuing to hold out for £49m for Ivan Perisic and so they may instead move for Gareth Bale.
The Real Madrid man has been a target for a number of years for United and they may speed up their pursuit of signing the 28-year-old. Last season, Bale missed out on a number of games due to injuries but he still managed seven goals and three assists in La Liga.
According to the Express, United would much prefer to sign the Welshman and Gareth Bale has refused to comment on the link to Old Trafford.
It is understood United are willing to pay £90m for the ex-Tottenham man and Bale maybe allowed to leave as Madrid continue their interest in rising star Kylian Mbappe of Monaco.
United have been busy in the transfer market and are soon to announce the signing of Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic. But all summer long, United have been desperate to bag a winger and now it seems United are starting to lose hope in the deal to bring Ivan Perisic to the club and may turn their attentions to world star Gareth Bale.
