Even though the transfer window has been closed for nearly a week, Manchester United have finalised another signing.

Spanish youth international Arnau Puigmal has completed a free transfer move from Espanyol now he has received international clearance for the switch to go through, say the Mirror.

Manchester United had been tracking the teenager for some time and agreed terms to sign the 16-year-old in July but have been forced to wait nearly two months to rubber stamp the deal.

Puigmal posted on Instagram hinting that he had completed a move, while an official announcement from the Premier League club has yet to be made:

Very happy and proud to announce that I am a new Manchester United player, a dream come true. It’s time to work, come on Red Devils!

Capped at U18 level by Spain, Puigmal is considered one of the best prospects at his level and will be given every opportunity to progress and develop at Manchester United in the years to come.
