Manchester United are always continually looking to improve their squad and will be scouting a number of players during the season ahead of the transfer windows.

Reports claim that United are monitoring highly-rated Cadiz midfielder Alvaro Garcia who’s enjoying the form of his career after leaving Granada for Cadiz on a free transfer in the summer of 2016.

The 24-year-old operates in an attacking midfield role but can also play on either wing and caught the eye in Spain’s second tier last season, scoring five goals and providing 11 assists in 38 appearances.

Despite signing a new deal with Cadiz last month, Garcia has a release clause of just £7m in his contract and Manchester United are reportedly weighing up exercising the clause in the near future.

Manchester United have scored goals for fun this season have do perhaps lack depth in the attacking midfield area and the addition of Garcia would provide them with another option.
