Manchester United are in good spirits after a draw with Liverpool at Anfield kept their unbeaten start to the season going, and will be hoping to make it three wins of three in Champions League Group A when they face Benfica on Wednesday night.

The Red Devils are currently top of the group, having beaten FC Basel 3-0 before taking to Moscow to beat CSKA by a margin of 4-1.

Benfica, on the other hand, are struggling. After two defeats, they are the only team in the group without a single point, and a loss on Wednesday night would see them nine points off top spot halfway through proceedings; quite simply a disaster.

United would love to put Benfica in that situation, and would love even more for FC Basel and CSKA Moscow to draw with one another this week too; both of said results coming in would put Jose Mourinho and his men top by five points with just three games left to play.
