Young not thinking about a move away
Manchester United star Ashley Young is not thinking about a move away from the club, the MEN report.
The former England international has been used as a utility man in recent years, and is evidently still regarded as an important member of Jose Mourinho’s squad.
Wherever the manager asks me to go and play, I give 100% percent as soon as I put on that United shirt. I have been playing games and that is what the focus is on – playing well and doing well for the team.
Speculation mounted earlier on in the year regarding Young’s future at Old Trafford, with speculative links to a move to the Chinese Super League emerging.
However, it looks as though Young is happy to stay at United for as long as they want him, and he evidently has faith that the club will make the right decision by him.
Young has been used in a host of different positions by Mourinho, and has been experimented with at full-back most recently.
If any offers come then the club will come and speak to me.
The 32-year-old looks to have put the majority of his injury worries behind him, and will be keen to help United in their upcoming Champions League clash against SL Benfica.
