Five Premier League clubs are queuing up to sign Luke Shaw should Jose Mourinho decide to sell him in January.

The Telegraph reports that Spurs, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Everton are all keeping tabs on developments at Old Trafford.

United have recently extended the defender’s until 2019 through a clause in his contract.

Despite wanting to sell the defender, United believe by adding the extra year to his contract they can add some value to his price tag.

United paid Southampton £28 million for the defender and hope to recoup some of the back.

Fenerbahce are interested in taking the defender on loan in January, but Shaw is not keen on a temporary move to Turkey.

Mourinho was very critical of the player’s decision to move to Old Trafford when he was in charge at Stamford Bridge and the defender has failed to work his way into the manager’s plans at Manchester United.
