Manchester United will activate clauses in the contracts of Juan Mata, Ander Herrera, Ashley Young and Daley Blind, as per The Telegraph.
The four will now see their contracts run until the end of next season, despite some initial concerns about losing them at the end of the current campaign.
The club has done the same with defender Luke Shaw but still plan to offload the defender in the new year.
By extending his contract until 2019, United hope to add some value to the player as they look to get back some of the £28 million they paid Southampton for his services.
Herrera has seen his name linked with a move back to Spain with Atletico Madrid watching his situation, while Blind and Mata have also been linked with moves away from the club.
Young has been one of this season’s revelations, making the left-back position his own with several impressive performances.
