Real Madrid are reportedly ready to cash in on long-term Manchester United target Gareth Bale.

The Mirror reports that the Spanish champions are growing frustrated with the Welshman’s injury problems and could offload the player for £85 million.

The winger has been hampered by injuries over the latest 12 months, with the latest one likely to keep him out until the new year.

Manchester United were heavily linked with a move for the player throughout the summer, but both Spurs and Chelsea are also thought to be monitoring his situation.

Tottenham may be able to use Madrid’s interest in Harry Kane as a bargaining chip, but financially, they may not be able to compete with both United and Chelsea in the race to sign him.

While Madrid are also long-term admirers of David De Gea and will undoubtedly try and include the Spaniard in any potential deal involving the Welshman.
