Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian is attracting interest from a plethora of European clubs ahead of a potential January move.

According to reports in Spain, as covered by Football Italia, Valencia have joined the race to sign Darmian from United but will face competition from Serie A clubs for his signature.

Roma and Napoli have been linked with moves for Darmian in recent times, as they look to bring the defender back to his homeland of Italy.

Darmian is not held in particularly high esteem at Manchester United, with manager Jose Mourinho evidently favouring other options ahead of him at both left and right-back.

However, this does not mean that the Portuguese tactician will allow Darmian to depart Old Trafford cheaply. It’s claimed by Football Italia that if the Italy international is to move in January, United will demand €20 million from his sale.

Darmian is a regular for Italy but is sure to be keen on gaining frequent playing time at club level in the near future.
