Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera believes that the team have found form at the perfect time after beating Arsenal 3-1 in the Premier League on Saturday.
Herrera was used as a substitute against Arsenal as United saw Paul Pogba sent off for a late challenge on Hector Bellerin.
The Spaniard, who was speaking to the club’s official website, has been criticised for performances this season but the central midfielder believes that the team as a whole have been playing well recently and hopes they can take the form into the title clash with Manchester City on Sunday.
We are going to find our best moment very soon, we are second and chasing to be top of the table.
It was a fantastic result [at Arsenal] with some great performances. David [De Gea] was amazing, and we were clinical in the first half, with two chances in the first 15 minutes and two goals.
I’m not thinking about Sunday, now it’s about CSKA [Moscow]. We are not qualified yet so we don’t think about City yet.
The midfielder is now expected to start against City on Sunday in midfield alongside Nemanja Matic, with Pogba suspended for three matches.
The Red Devils first host CSKA Moscow in the UEFA Champions League final group stage match as the Reds look to secure first place in the group.
