Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal has squashed talk that he is keen on a move away from Germany by saying he is committed to the club, according to the Mirror.
Manchester United and Chelsea have both been heavily linked with the player but it now seems that he won’t be coming to England any time soon.
He only has 18 months left on his current Bayern contract but he is confident that he will sign a new deal with the club to end any interest from elsewhere in him.
He joined the club in 2015 and has played a vital role this season as his side currently lead the Bundesliga ahead of the return of the Champions League.
His country Chile have also missed out on the World Cup in Russia so the player is keen to continue is development with the German champions.
He has netted six goals so far this season in just 18 matches. He spoke in a recent interview about the situation.
I’m not thinking about a transfer. I feel very comfortable here. Of course I would like to extend my contract. That’s an option. My kids are very happy here, too.
