Sanchez wants to end career in Chile
Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez has revealed that he intends to end his career back in his hometown in Chile being the club he supported as a youngster according to the Independent.
Sanchez signed for United from Arsenal in January but has struggled to make much of an impact since his move, scoring just once from the penalty spot.
The forward has admitted that he wants to finish his career where he started in Chile where he left in 2006 for Udinese at the time.
With Sanchez struggling to make much of an impact at United it seems that he could be heading back to Chile earlier than was expected.
The former Arsenal man has said that it was the dream of his adoptive dad Jose Delaigue to see him play for Universidad de Chile at some stage of his career.
Sanchez spoke about the situation:
“My father who is now in heaven was a supporter of La U and I think the truth is that a lot of my family would like me to end up there.
“My dad was the pillar of the family and sometimes people do things for their family as well.
“I played for Colo-Colo and the truth is that it was great and I won a lot of things with them, but I think people are going to understand it because it’s a dream my dad had and God willing I am going to fulfil it.”
