Zlatan Ibrahimovic to leave Man United this week
Zlatan Ibrahimovic will leave Manchester United this week to sign for an MLS club, as per a report from Mark Ogden of ESPN.
LA Galaxy, the former club of ex-United star David Beckham, look the most likely side to sign Ibrahimovic, but it has not yet confirmed which MLS side he is joining.
Ibrahimovic will leave United having scored 29 goals in 53 appearances, and will be fondly remembered for his brace against Southampton in the League Cup final.
The former Swedish international has not featured for United since Boxing Day and with Jose Mourinho seemingly preferring a host of other options, he is allowing Ibrahimovic to leave.
The 36-year-old still has four months left on his contract but United are allowing him to terminate that deal early so he can sign for a club in America.
