# Swansea City v Manchester United: Predicted line-up

*Manchester United travel to Swansea tomorrow, looking to avenge an opening-day defeat at Old Trafford. The team will look very different to the one that started the campaign, however. Here we look at the predicted starting line-up:*

**David De Gea:** With every passing week, It becomes more difficult to give this guy enough praise. Obvious inclusion when fit.

**Antonio Valencia:** Seems to be LVG’s preferred choice at right back, need’s to do more in my opinion. Constantly looks as if he is going to take players on, but instead, he cuts back and picks the safer pass.

**Marcos Rojo:** Currently the only shining light in defence, in my opinion of course. He is strong and his interceptions have been excellent, he should retain his place in the center.

**Chris Smalling:** With Phil Jones coming off with an injury against Preston expect to see Smalling come into the team. After his performance against on Monday in the FA cup I have no objection to his inclusion and I would love to see that form carry over.

**Luke Shaw:** I’m happy that Shaw is getting an extended run in the team, although, I’m still unsure about his defensive abilities. With very little competition for the left back spot we should see the Shaw included.

**Daley Blind:** Quickly becoming one of my favorite Manchester United players, he is so calm and composed on the ball. I think it’s going to be very difficult for Michael Carrick to get back into the team with Blinds form.

**Ander Herrera:** It’s time for a change, I’m not claiming I know more than the manager but at this stage I am constantly finding it hard to think of reasons why one of our best midfielder’s can’t get a game.5 goals and 5 assists in 5 start warrants a start.

**Adnan Januzaj:** Seems to have gained the faith of the manager in recent weeks, and with the increased call for good wing play I see him starting on the wing.

**Wayne Rooney:** Controversial penalty won against Preston which I don’t condone, but he is is our captain so he starts when fit. I would like to see him deployed behind the striker to cause some damage.

**Angel Di Maria:** Questions about his fitness after news broke of an apparent aggrivation of a previous pelvic injury. Should he start I think he should be played wide which, would allow him to be direct and run at players where he can be at peak effectiveness.

**Robin Van Persie:** Currently the only Manchester United striker to have hit double figures in terms of goals scored. He has been in poor form lately and hopefully he can cause problems against Swansea on Saturday.
