# Schneiderlin trains with Saints youngsters

Sergio Ramos isn’t the only potential arrival capturing the headlines, with the *Mirror* reporting that Morgan Schneiderlin trained with the Southampton Under 21 squad, as his transfer to United gathers pace.

A £25 million fee has reportedly been agreed with Southampton for the midfielder and the deal could go through by next Tuesday. The French international returned early for pre-season training and worked with the youngsters, alongside the Saints’ summer arrivals.

Ronald Koeman wants Schneiderlin’s future sorted by the 7th July, when his squad fly out to Austria for pre-season, and it looks likely that the 25-year-old will secure a move to Old Trafford.

The midfielder has been at Southampton since 2008 when he joined from Strasbourg for a fee of £1.2 million. He has gone on to play 260 times and score 15 goals for the south coast and his form has seen him achieve international recognition with France. Schneiderlin was a part of the French squad that reached the quarter finals in Brazil.
