# United yet to Make Second Bid for Schneiderlin

Manchester United are yet to make a second offer for **Morgan Schneiderlin**, according to reports in the *Express*.

The Red Devils had a £20 million offer rejected by Southampton and contrary to rumours they have yet to return with a second bid. However the south coast side’s executive director of football, Les Reed, is expecting another bid to be made.

*“It’s very difficult to know where his future lies because, yes, there’s interest, it’s been well documented that they made a bid that we turned down, and that to an extent is their declaration of interest,”* Reed told the *Daily Echo*,

*“I’ve been bracing myself for the big offer that goes ‘Right, take it or leave it,’ and that hasn’t come.*

*“Unfortunately, because of the publicity surrounding it, Morgan will be thinking the same thing.*

*“I have to say Morgan’s been exceptionally professional, he’s turned up for training on time.”*

With United reportedly in the process of tying up a deal for Bastian Schweinsteiger, any transfer for Morgan Schneiderlin looks to have taken a back seat. It will be interesting to see what United do next in their pursuit of the French midfielder.
