# United target teases his future

**Bayern Munich midfielder Mario Gotze has admitted he could be tempted by a move abroad after speculation about his future emerged.**

Germany’s World Cup hero has struggled to assert himself at Bayern Munich since moving to the Allianz arena in 2013.The 23-year-old’s unsettled status has put many Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, on red alert.

With Italian double winners Juventus set to lose Arturo Vidal to Bayern, a move for Gotze to Turin has been mooted.

The German told Goal.com:

“I think that playing abroad might be a good experience for me: new languages, new cultures. I might like it.

“But, as I said, I’m just at the early stage of my career. Let’s see what the future brings.”

A move to Manchester could happen, however the move wouldn’t make sense with there being plenty of attacking midfielders already at the club like Juan Mata, Adnan Januzaj, Andreas Pereira and Ander Herrera.

But, with a possible “surprise” foward signing, Gotze could potentially be used as a false nine, if a move to United was to materialise.
