# Di Maria departs

What started as a promising new adventure for Angel Di Maria has come to an abrupt end, one which many Manchester United fans would not be happy with.

Paris Saint-Germain have officially announced that they have signed Angel Di Maria until 2019 according to their twitter.

With what started as a record signing for Manchester United, Angel Di Maria was unable to create any of his own records in Manchester. With a dismal season, riddled with personal issues and battles, Angel was unable to kick start his new venture, and instead was overtaken by players around him such as Ashley Young.

His return to Manchester United after his time with Argentina in the Copa America was halted when he refused to show up for United’s tour of America, which resulted in him being fined a hefty amount. He has since been in negotiations with PSG and just recently passed a medical resulting in him being signed by the club for £44.3 million.

His parting from the club has cleared approximately £750,000 off the weekly wages, which should help get the ball rolling for some new signings, most likely Pedro from Barcelona which has been heavily rumoured.

It was a bitter end for Angel who only after a regrettable season stated that he will “move back to Manchester for next season and do my best there.” Hence the dismay of many Manchester United fans.
