# United considering move for Vardy

Manchester United are[thought to](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/475675/Exclusive-Man-United-15m-swoop-Leicester-Jamie-Vardy) have switched their attentions to in-form Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy.

The 28-year-old striker is thought to be valued at £15 million and United boss Louis van Gaal is very keen on the Premier League’s top goalscorer for when the transfer window re-opens in January.

Goals have been hard to come by for Manchester United this season and with Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial both lacking form in front of goal; someone like Jamie Vardy could be a very good option for the Red Devils to have in their squad.

He is one game away from a Premier League record after scoring in nine consecutive Premier League matches and has 12 goals already in just 12 league games. If he scores in his next match for Leicester then he will have met a Premier League record of most consecutive matches in which a player has scored in.

Would he be a worthwhile signing for United?
