# Player Ratings: Man United 1-0 Sheffield United

Manchester United are through to the fourth round of the FA Cup after a 1-0 victory over League One side Sheffield United, but in truth, it was a dire performance from the Reds and the Blades deserved at least a replay.

There was a complete lack of urgency in attack from United and it took almost 70 minutes for Louis van Gaal’s side to register a shot on target, which was greeted by ironic cheers from the Old Trafford crowd.

In the end, a penalty from Wayne Rooney in the third minute of stoppage time spared United’s blushes and they will be in the pot for the fourth round draw on Monday night.

So, how did we rate the players’ performances?
