# Aubameyang would prefer Man United over Arsenal switch

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has apparently told his friends that he would prefer a switch to Manchester United over Arsenal, according to [the Daily Star.](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/496266/Pierre-Emerick-Aubameyang-Man-United-transfer-news)

The 26-year-old has been linked with a move to the Premier League following his good form for Borussia Dortmund this season.

And it has been reported that United are preparing to offer £60 million for the Gabonese international in the summer.

Aubameyang might be exactly what the Red Devils need, with United struggling to regularly find the back of the net so far this season.

He’s had his hand in 39 goals in all competitions this year, scoring 31 and assisting eight in 33 games.

Dortmund bought Aubameyang from Ligue 1 side Saint-Etienne in 2013 for £11.25 million and are set to make a decent profit from the player if they decide to let him go this summer.

If United meet the £60 million price tag, it will break their previous transfer record of £59.7 million they spent on Angel di Maria in 2014.
