# Who was Man United’s man of the match today?

Manchester United have gotten to within one point of the top four with a 1-0 victory over their derby rivals at the Etihad today.

Both Manchester City and United have been struggling for form in recent games, and both needed a win today in order to bolster their Champions League hopes.

Marcus Rashford scored the only goal of the match after going past Martin Demichelis before slotting a shot beyond Joe Hart.

The Citizens pushed for an equaliser but couldn’t find a way past and United’s hopes of Champions League football have been reignited with eight games remaining.
