# Duel: Which ex-player would you bring back to Old Trafford?

Manchester United may not be at the very pinnacle of English football right now, but they were not too long ago – when the squad was bigger and stacked with more “household” names.

Some may put it down to mistakes in the transfer market and others may see it as a natural progression for an elite football club, but Manchester United have let go of many top class players over the last half a decade.

With names such as Ji-Sung Park, Paul Scholes and Nemanja Vidic having hung up their boots now, they are not included here; this duel is based on players who are still plying their trade, for other clubs.

You are about to be presented with a very talented bunch of ex-United players – but you can only choose one in the end. Which former Red Devil would you bring back to Old Trafford to make an impact next season?
