# Vote: Zlatan or Van Gaal?

News broke earlier today that Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic would be interested in a move to Manchester United, but only if Louis van Gaal departs as United manager at the end of the season.

This is according to Sky Sports, who broke the news on their Twitter account:

Of course, the 34-year-old has history with Van Gaal, with the Dutchman having clashed with the Swedish international during his time as technical director at Ajax, with the current United manager resigning from his role soon after selling Ibrahimovic to Juventus in 2004.

Even at his advanced age, Ibrahimovic can be considered one of the world’s top strikers and could play a role while the likes of Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford develop in the wings.

However, his arrival will mean that Van Gaal has to depart – even if the Dutchman has a year remaining on his contract – but many United fans are hoping to see the back of the 64-year-old after the current season due to the current tedious brand of football at Old Trafford.
