# Who was your Man of the Match against Tottenham?

It’s not something anyone really wants to think about, and especially not on a Monday – but this will require you to cast your mind back to yesterday’s sickening defeat at White Hart Lane, in a seemingly gridlocked North London.

When kickoff was delayed by 30 minutes on Sunday afternoon, things were already going badly – the United squad were stuck in traffic. Then, when things did get underway, the Red Devils actually played very well – in the first half, at least.

When Timothy Fosu-Mensah came off injured around the 70 minute mark, being replaced by Matteo Darmian, everything fell apart. Spurs scored; then they scored again…and again. Let’s not dwell on that too much.
