# Team News – Manchester United vs Leicester City

Louis van Gaal confirmed that there were no fresh injuries ahead of Manchester United’s clash with Leicester City at Old Trafford on Sunday.

The Reds came through the dramatic FA Cup semi-final victory against Everton unscathed, meaning that Bastian Schweinsteiger and Luke Shaw are the only remaining United players on the sidelines through injury.

Van Gaal hinted in his weekly interview with [MUTV](https://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Features/Football-News/2016/Apr/Team-news-Louis-van-Gaal-injury-update-for-Manchester-United-v-Leicester-City.aspx) that Shaw could be an outside shot to play in the FA Cup final against Crystal Palace on May 21, and said that the left-back was showing great progress in his recovery from a broken leg.

He said:

> *We don’t have any injuries, except Shaw, who is already not injured anymore but is building up, and Schweinsteiger.*
>
> *He can \[play in the FA Cup final\], maybe, but it shall be difficult because he has to play first a lot of matches in the second team.* *We have to wait and see because you cannot say anything. It’s going very well with him.*

United will be looking to secure three points this weekend to enhance their chance of making the top four this season while Leicester could secure the Premier League title with a victory at the Theatre of Dreams and cap a fairytale season.
