# Galatasaray keen on cut-price deal for Antonio Valencia

Galatasaray are interested in signing Manchester United fullback Antonio Valencia in a £1.3m deal this summer, according to Turkish paper [AMK](https://amkspor.sozcu.com.tr/2016/08/06/galatasaraydan-taraftarlarina-iki-dunya-yildizi-512861/).

Valencia’s contract at Old Trafford expires at the end of the season and he doesn’t feature in Jose Mourinho’s first team plans this season as a summer move edges nearer.

The 31-year-old caught the eye of Galatasaray club chiefs during United’s 5-2 pre-season win over the Turkish giants where Valencia picked up three assists in the victory.

It’s believed that Galatasaray are ready to offer the Ecuador international a four-year contract if they can agree a deal with the Red Devils.

The Super Lig outfit are readying a bid of £1.3m to sign Valencia this summer – it remains to be seen whether that will be enough to get the deal done.

Valencia isn’t the only Manchester United player Galatasaray are eyeing a summer move for. German legend Bastian Schweinsteiger is also on their wishlist before the transfer window closes.
