# What will be the score against Bournemouth?

Manchester United travel to Dean Court to kickstart their new season under Jose Mourinho. After a mixed pre-season, culminating in winning the Community Shield, United fans will be eager to see how their new look team will cope in their first Premier League match.

Fans can expect to see some new faces making their competitive debuts, with Eric Bailly, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic all in line for a chance. However, the new world-record transfer, Paul Pogba, will have to wait until Friday as he serves a suspension due to his bookings in the Coppa Italia last season. Chris Smalling is also suspended due to his red in the FA Cup final, whilst Luke Shaw could play his first Premier League since last September after his horrific injury against PSV Eindhoven.

United will look to get off to a quick start after Mourinho made the claim that their ambition for the new season will be to win the title and to dispel the disappointing finishes of their last three seasons. They can expect a tough test against Bournemouth as they lost this fixture last year [2-1](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35014111) and the Cherries have made some solid additions to their squad this summer also.

What do you think the result will be for Mourinho’s maiden Premier League voyage as United manager? Let us know below!
