We’re a little over a month away from the release of FIFA 17 – which is highly anticipated following a move to a new game engine, which should see gameplay greatly improved on that of its predecessor titles.
EA’s much loved yet also much maligned football game is generally thought to be at the forefront of games based on the sport, and many fans are eager to get their hands on this year’s edition.
So how will Manchester United fans feel about their side’s rating on the game? It’s fully expected that the Red Devils will boast a five-star overall rating, but people are generally more concerned about players’ individual standings.
Futhead have teamed up with WhoScored to calculate players’ ratings on FIFA 17, based on their ratings from FIFA 16, together with their performances in the 2015-16 campaign.
There have also been leaked images of various teams’ supposed ratings, so we’ve put these two, along with our own common sense, to predict United’s ratings on the new game…
FIFA 16 ratings shown are the ones given to the players upon its release last year, and are not necessarily the highest ratings they achieved over the course of the season.
Players without Ultimate Team cards in FIFA 16 are shown as not having had a rating in that game.
