# Combined XI: Manchester United vs Manchester City

The long-anticipated Manchester derby takes place at Old Trafford at 12:30 on Saturday and it’s set to be the most-watched match in Premier League history.

With world-record signing Paul Pogba, World Cup winner Ilkay Gundogan and record England goalscorer Wayne Rooney all plying their trade in the north-west, the game is sure to be a corker.

The amount of talent between the two squads is simply outrageous – and comparisons hit their peak in the build-up to a game such as this one.

One of the most highly-favoured methods of comparing the two sides is to put the squads together and pick a starting eleven from that combined pool.

It would be rude not to join in, so here is our Manchester derby combined eleven – we’ve not taken availability for Saturday’s game at Old Trafford into account, so expect to see some injured and/or suspended players in the side!
