# Team News: Watford (H)

Manchester United take on Watford at Old Trafford on Saturday, and José Mourinho has confirmed that Phil Jones will again miss out on the squad due to injury.

Jones picked up the injury in the goalless draw against Hull at the start of February. Mourinho has insisted that United will cope without the Englishman.

“We coped well without Eric \[While at AFCON\]. The other guys did very, very well.”

José has also confirmed that captain Wayne Rooney is ‘fine’, after missing the Leicester clash due to illness.

Marcos Rojo was substituted at half-time against Leicester with a suspected injury, but Mourinho didn’t comment on his situation. The Argentine is expected to miss the game, meaning two of United’s better centre-backs this season will be out.

Mourinho also discussed the upcoming transfer window, stating that the window will be ‘soft’.

> We are stable so our market in the summer will be soft, it will be natural. Some players will leave, some players will come, but in a very natural way. I think the word that Ed used is a good one.

> You know we prefer to bring in two, three or four players but good players – players that fulfil an idea of the football that we try to play, players that can improve our squad.
