Manchester United forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be offered a £5 million-a-season deal to become the face of new MLS side Los Angeles FC, according to the Daily Mail.
The move would see the 35-year-old sign for the newly formed MLS club, but be loaned back to Manchester United next season.
Ibrahimovic, who has been excellent under Jose Mourinho since his arrival last summer, is out of contract this summer and his future at Old Trafford remains uncertain.
Los Angles FC, who begin their first season in the MLS next March, are hopeful of making the former Barcelona, PSG and AC Milan forward their main signing this summer as a statement of intent.
The Swedish international has made 28 Premier League appearances for Manchester United this season, scoring 17 goals.
The forward will not be short of offers if he does decide to leave Old Trafford, but the newly formed MLS club will allow Ibrahimovic to play for another European side for the first half of the season before joining them in March of next year.
