Manchester United are interested in a move for Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan, according to the Daily Mail.
The report claims that United will move to sign Nainggolan after missing out on Tottenham midfielder Eric Dier.
The club were keen to sign Dier but has been deterred by Tottenham’s resilience, with last season’s runners-up demanding £50m for the England international.
Jose Mourinho will now look to Nainggolan to add some steel to his midfield for next season.
Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic is also seen as an option, along with Anderlecht midfielder Leander Dendoncker.
Nainggolan is said to be valued at £40m, with Serie A side Inter Milan also thought to be keen.
However, Roma are unwilling to sell to a direct rival, with Nainggolan open to the idea of leaving the Italian capital this summer.
The 29-year-old is highly regarded as one of the best midfielders in Europe and it is claimed that Chelsea could even re-ignite their previous interest in him.
