Inter Milan director Piero Ausilio says that Ivan Perisic will not join Manchester United this summer.

Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol‏ reports that Ausilio is standing firm on Perisic with the Italians desperate to keep hold of the Croatian international.

United have been linked with a move for Perisic throughout the summer but have been unable to complete a deal after failing with a number of bids.

New Inter manager Luciano Spalletti is thought to be keen to keep hold of the player as the club look to regain some dominance in Serie A.

Previous reports have suggested that player is keen to move to Old Trafford this summer as Jose Mourinho re-builds his United squad.

Inter Milan are demanding £48 million for the player, who has three years remaining on his current deal in Italy.
