Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is facing a four-week injury lay-off, according to The Telegraph.
Pogba hobbled off injured in the first-half of Manchester United’s 3-0 Champions League win over Basel on Tuesday night.
The report now confirms the extent of the injury. Pogba will be out of action for at least four weeks, with a hamstring strain.
However, it is said that further scans will be conducted in the coming days and Pogba could be out for over a month.
United swept Basel aside in the opening game of the group. Fellaini, Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford scored the goals as they cruised to three points.
Jose Mourinho’s side now travel to Liverpool in the Premier League this weekend, and will be without their star midfielder for the clash.
Pogba had started the season brilliantly, scoring against Swansea and West Ham last month.
The Frenchman will now have to watch from the stands for the next few weeks.
